Always looking for happiness in the next thing?

So…I’ve had a huge realisation and I want to share it with you. I’m pretty sure that I’m not alone 0n this one so please do holler if you’ve ever felt the same.

I find it hard to see my own success.

There, I’ve said it, it’s out there. Now of course, since I’ve said it out loud it means it’s real and I need to deal with it, well actually I already have been… I’m a life coach! I would analyse the way I say hello every morning if I had the time. Soooo love analysing myself.

There’s no doubt about it, we are stressed out!

Trying to juggle work, health, money and our relationships can leave us worrying about our future and wondering if everything is going to work out.

Did you know that 22% of women suffer from anxiety in the UK? That’s a huge number of us. Truthfully, I think that percentage is probably higher, it’s just that so many of us accept it as the norm instead of speaking to someone about it.

But guess what…? You don’t have to accept it. Halleluja!

I caught up with Chloe Brotheridge – Anxiety expert and founder of Calmer you and she told me that you can overcome “What if I fail?”, “OMG did I say the wrong thing?” or “How will I pay my rent?” by doing a few small things on a daily basis.

Chloe Brotheridge has overcome her own anxiety using the very same steps she shares in this interview and she was so happy with the changes in her life that she wanted to help other women to do the same.

How to switch off even when your to do list is getting bigger

There seems to be a turning point in life where stuff just gets serious, you get a job, maybe you buy a home and YOU START WRITING TO DO LISTS.

WHAT…? WHY…? HELP…!

Lists for everything, your business, the kids, your shopping, the house, what bills to pay, and it all starts to feel a little overwhelming.

Now you may think I would say to ditch your to do list, but you’ll be surprised to hear that’s not what I think. I love my to do list, but then we have a great relationship – I don’t try and control it and it doesn’t control me.

It’s taken some work though as we’ve not always been so in the flow with one another. There was a point when my to do list was all I could think about, and not in the good way – like when you’re in your honeymoon phase.

It’s important to switch off so I want to share one tip with you that can help you create a good relationship with your to do list too.
